November 2001 REP Workshop
REP Relations hosted its third Competitive Retailer/Retailer Electric Provider Workshop November 7 & 8, 2001, at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Dallas.
With the theme "Crossing new frontiers today" for tomorrow's energy delivery service" the group of 65 participants, representing 24 Retail Electric Providers, participated in discussions on pilot issues and the move to full market open.
Dan Farell, President of Oncor's Distribution Division, addressed the group providing a vision of the new energy delivery business and the status of Oncor's business separation plan. He also emphasized the company's commitment to meet the needs of our newest customers, Retail Electric Providers, with premier "energy delivery services."
The group also participated in a Market Open Panel discussion with Oncor executives. Topics included Customer Contact Center, Billing, Payments, Collections & Disputes and Outage Notification. Other areas that were covered during the two-day seminar included:
