The Discretionary Service Agreement is used to request the installation of an AMR (Automated Meter Reading) or OMR (Off-Site Meter Reading) device consistent with discretionary service charges DD14, DD15, DD16, DD17. Complete the form and fax to 214.486.2578.

Letter of Authorization for IDR Data Requests on the Web Portal

Please use the Letter of Authorization found immediately below this text to request access to Oncor's IDR web portal for the purpose of obtaining up to 24 months of the end-use customer's interval usage data. This standard LOA form was accepted by the Texas market participants and adopted by Oncor for requesting historic usage and interval data. LOA's dated after February 17, 2004 and received after April 1, 2004 must be on the standard LOA form. Non-standard LOA's dated prior to February 17, 2004 will be accepted for a period of 12 months from the LOA date. The LOA and attachments should be sent to metersupport@oncor.com or faxed to 214.486.2578. Upon receipt, a temporary user-id and password will be assigned and returned via e-mail with log-in procedures for the IDR web portal. LOA instructions and an ESI ID attachment form are also provided below.

Letter of Authorization for Advanced Meter Services Requests

Competitive Retailers, Energy Service Providers or Third Party Consultants should complete the following Letter of Authorization (LOA) (below) and send to metering_services@oncor.com or fax to 214.486.2578 to request the following services on the customer's behalf: 1) the installation of advanced metering equipment, or 2) direct access to the meter to read interval data, or 3) energy pulse installation. The LOA form should be signed by the customer and printed on the end-use customer's company letterhead. The form can be downloaded in a PDF format and reproduced on the end-use customer's letterhead or downloaded in a MS Word document and insert the end-use customer's letterhead.
